Want to order halal food online in Scarborough? This guide covers the best platforms and restaurants for online halal food ordering, including Blessed Kitchen on Uber Eats.

Ordering Halal Food Online in Scarborough: Your Options

Online food ordering has transformed how Scarborough's Muslim community accesses halal food. Whether you're using Uber Eats, DoorDash, or ordering directly from restaurants, getting certified halal food delivered to your door has never been easier.

Blessed Kitchen is available on Uber Eats for authentic Sri Lankan halal food delivery across Scarborough and parts of the GTA.

Best Platforms for Ordering Halal Food Online in Scarborough

Uber Eats

Uber Eats has the widest selection of halal restaurants in Scarborough. Search by cuisine type or filter for specific restaurants. Blessed Kitchen is on Uber Eats — search "Blessed Kitchen" for authentic Sri Lankan halal delivery.

DoorDash

DoorDash also has strong halal restaurant coverage in Scarborough, with many of the same restaurants available across both platforms.

Direct Restaurant Ordering

For larger orders or catering, ordering directly from the restaurant is often better. Blessed Kitchen accepts direct orders for large-format takeout and full catering bookings.

Tips for Ordering Halal Food Online

  • Check the restaurant's halal status: Look for restaurants that explicitly state certified halal status on their profile, not just "halal options available"
  • Read recent reviews: Community members often flag if halal standards have slipped
  • Order directly for large groups: Delivery apps add fees; for large orders, direct contact saves money

Where you can and cannot find us

To set the record straight, Blessed Kitchen takes online orders in two places: our own direct ordering page and Uber Eats. We are not on SkipTheDishes. If you find a listing for us on any other app, it is not ours.

Ordering direct, step by step

  1. Open our direct ordering page. It has no app markup, so menu prices are the prices you pay before tax.
  2. Choose pickup or delivery. Pickup is on Saturday and Sunday from 328 Passmore Avenue, Unit 59.
  3. Add your items. Biriyani is $12, Kottu Roti $13, Chicken Devil $12.99 and Mango Lassi $6.
  4. Add notes about spice level or allergies before you check out.

When to call instead of clicking

Some things cannot be ordered online. Call or text (647) 449-2924 for:

  • Butter chicken and lamb biryani, which we make but which are not on the online menu.
  • Price-on-request specials such as Crab Curry, Chicken 65 or Whole Fried Chicken, which need 10 or more people.
  • Catering combos, which are per person with a 20-person minimum.
  • Halal documentation. Our chicken, beef and lamb are HMA-certified, and we share the paperwork on request.

Have this ready before you call

Your date, headcount, pickup or delivery address, and any allergies. With those four details, we can give you an answer in one conversation instead of three.

Online ordering questions

Why does the app price differ from your menu?

Delivery apps can add their own markup. Our direct page does not.

Can I order catering trays online?

Tray sizes feed 5 to 8, 10 to 15 or 20 to 30, and pricing is by quote, so call or text for those.

Do you deliver outside Scarborough?

For catering, yes, across the GTA. Markham is about 15 minutes from our kitchen, Pickering 20 to 25, and downtown Toronto 35 to 45.
