Blessed Kitchen is a family-run halal kitchen in Scarborough catering events across Toronto and the GTA. We cook authentic Sri Lankan and Indian food — the same recipes we serve in our restaurant — and bring it to your event hot, fresh and ready to serve.

Ordering is simple: tell us your date, headcount and any preferences. Catering is roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount) with a 20-guest minimum, and we deliver across the GTA. Give us as much notice as you can — especially for large events — and we'll confirm your menu and send a quote the same day.

Catering in Toronto: what to know

We cater across the whole City of Toronto, from Scarborough and North York to the downtown core. Downtown orders are mostly office lunches and corporate events; east and north end orders are mostly family celebrations, weddings and community events. Whatever the event, the food is the same as what we cook for our own neighbourhood: HMA-certified halal Sri Lankan dishes made from scratch.

Getting the food to Toronto

Our kitchen is at 328 Passmore Avenue in north Scarborough. Downtown Toronto is roughly 32 km away, about 35 to 45 minutes depending on traffic, and North York and East York are closer. You can have it delivered within our range, or pick it up yourself from the kitchen. Either way, everything is packed hot and ready to serve, and we do not staff events on site.

• Beef Biryani Combo, roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount): beef biryani, whole deep-fried chicken, green pea cashew curry, eggplant moju, pineapple curry, maasi sambal, acharu, custard.
• Mutton Biryani Combo, roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount): mutton biryani, chicken chukka, eggplant moju, maasi sambal, pineapple curry, yogurt sambal, acharu, kithul watalappan.
• String Hopper Biryani Combo, roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount): string hopper biryani, chicken korma, eggplant moju, pineapple curry, yogurt sambal, maasi sambal.

Specials such as crab curry, tiger shrimp devil, Thai lobster devil, kada (quail) devil, chicken 65, whole fried chicken and mixed seafood are made for groups of 10 or more and priced on request.

How booking works

1. Call or text (647) 449-2924 with your date, headcount and pickup or delivery.
2. Pick a combo, or tell us your budget and we suggest one.
3. We confirm the menu and send your quote.
4. We cook everything fresh for your time and pack it ready to serve. We do not staff events on site, so plan your own serving setup.

Give us as much notice as you can, especially for weekends around Eid and in wedding season.
