Chicken Biryani on Uber Eats

Order our chicken biryani for delivery in range. Basmati and spiced chicken, served with raita.

Chicken biryani for Uber Eats delivery at Blessed Kitchen

You can get our chicken biryani delivered through Uber Eats when you are in range of our Scarborough kitchen. It is long-grain basmati layered with chicken that was marinated and cooked down in spice, then steamed together so the rice carries the flavour, not just the pieces.

Why it works for delivery

Biryani keeps its heat and moisture on the trip, so it arrives close to how it left the kitchen. Served with raita. Tell us your spice level in the order notes and we will match it.

Order it

Find Blessed Kitchen on Uber Eats for delivery in range, or pick up from Scarborough on weekends. Zabihah halal.

How to get it

Add a note with your spice level and we will cook to match. We are a weekend kitchen, so pickup is from our Scarborough location on Saturday and Sunday, 12 to 5. If you are inside our Uber Eats delivery range, we can also drop it at your door.

Uber Eats or order direct?

Our Biriyani is on Uber Eats, but it is also on our own direct ordering page, where there is no app markup on menu prices and more of what you pay goes to a small family kitchen. Uber Eats is handy if you already have the app open and are inside its delivery range.

What you get

A single Biriyani is $12, Northern Sri Lankan style with fresh ground spices, in chicken, beef, mutton or vegetable. Add a Chicken Devil ($12.99) for heat or a Mango Lassi ($6) to cool down.

Allergy notes

Some of our dishes contain egg (kottu, egg masala, watalappan), dairy (yogurt sambal), fish (maasi sambal is made with dried Maldives fish) and nuts (green pea cashew curry). If anyone has an allergy, tell us when you order and we will tell you what to avoid.

Ordering for a household

One Biriyani is a meal for one. For a family of four, a common order is three to share plus one side with a different texture:

  • 3 Biriyani: 3 x $12 = $36
  • Chicken Devil: $12.99
  • 2 Mango Lassi: 2 x $6 = $12

That is $60.99 at our menu prices, before tax and delivery.

If we do not show up in the app

Uber Eats only lists us when your address is inside our delivery range, so if Blessed Kitchen is missing, distance is almost always the reason. You still have two options: weekend pickup from 328 Passmore Avenue, or our direct ordering page. For 20 or more people, catering delivery reaches much further, including Markham, North York and beyond.

Leftover biryani

Refrigerate within two hours and eat it within a day or two. Sprinkle a spoon of water over the rice, cover it, and microwave or steam until hot all the way through. Rice is best reheated only once, so take out just what you will eat.
