Kottu Roti in Toronto
Authentic halal kottu roti in Toronto — chicken, mutton and veg, made fresh.
Kottu roti is what you hear before you see it: godamba roti chopped on a hot griddle with two metal blades, mixed with egg, vegetables and your choice of meat. That steady chopping sound is the dish being made. It comes off the griddle hot, a little chewy, a little crisp at the edges, and full of spice.
What goes in it
We start with fresh godamba roti, then chop it down on the griddle with onions, leeks, carrot, egg and a spiced gravy. Add chicken, beef or keep it vegetable. Tell us your heat level and we cook it to match.
