Catering in Pickering: what to know

Pickering is the closest Durham town to our kitchen, so it is one of the easiest places for us to cater. A lot of our Pickering orders are family events at home or in community and condo party rooms: birthdays, aqiqah gatherings, Eid at a relative's place and post-nikah dinners. Because the drive is short, pickup is a realistic option too, which saves the delivery fee and lets you collect the food right before guests arrive.

Getting the food to Pickering

Our kitchen is at 328 Passmore Avenue in north Scarborough. Pickering (Durham Region) is roughly 20 km away, about 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. You can have it delivered within our range, or pick it up yourself from the kitchen. Either way, everything is packed hot and ready to serve, and we do not staff events on site.

Every combo is a full spread priced per person, with a 20 person minimum.

• Chicken Biryani Combo 1, $20 per person: chicken biryani, eggplant moju, egg masala, acharu.
• Chicken Biryani Combo 2, $25 per person: chicken biryani, deep-fried chicken, pineapple curry, eggplant moju, acharu, maasi sambal, green pea cashew curry, custard.
• Beef Biryani Combo, $27 per person: beef biryani, whole deep-fried chicken, green pea cashew curry, eggplant moju, pineapple curry, maasi sambal, acharu, custard.
• Mutton Biryani Combo, $29 per person: mutton biryani, chicken chukka, eggplant moju, maasi sambal, pineapple curry, yogurt sambal, acharu, kithul watalappan.
• String Hopper Biryani Combo, $29 per person: string hopper biryani, chicken korma, eggplant moju, pineapple curry, yogurt sambal, maasi sambal.

Specials such as crab curry, tiger shrimp devil, Thai lobster devil, kada (quail) devil, chicken 65, whole fried chicken and mixed seafood are made for groups of 10 or more and priced on request.

How booking works

1. Call or text (647) 449-2924 with your date, headcount and pickup or delivery.
2. Pick a combo, or tell us your budget and we suggest one.
3. We confirm the menu and send your quote.
4. We cook everything fresh for your time and pack it ready to serve. We do not staff events on site, so plan your own serving setup.

Give us as much notice as you can, especially for weekends around Eid and in wedding season.
