Our catering menu

Build your spread from the dishes our customers keep coming back for:

• Chicken & mutton biryani — fragrant basmati layered with spiced, slow-cooked meat.
• Kottu roti — chopped godamba roti stir-fried with egg, vegetables and your choice of meat.
• Devilled chicken — wok-tossed chicken in a bold, spicy-sweet sauce.
• Watalappan — Sri Lankan coconut-jaggery custard to finish.

Prefer Indian dishes? We do those too, and we're glad to combine cuisines or build a fully vegetarian spread.

How to order

Tell us your date, headcount and any preferences. Catering is roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount) with a 20-guest minimum, and we deliver across the GTA. Give us as much notice as you can and we'll confirm your menu and send a quote the same day.

How far we go

From our kitchen at 328 Passmore Ave in north Scarborough we cater across the GTA. Markham is about 15 minutes, Pickering and North York 20 to 25, Ajax 25 to 30, Whitby and Vaughan 35 to 40, Oshawa 40 to 45, and Mississauga, Brampton and Etobicoke 45 to 55. Oakville, Milton and Burlington are the furthest and best for large events booked early.

Our chicken, beef and lamb are HMA-certified halal. Weddings of 1,000+ guests are no problem. Ask about our catering trays for 5 to 30 people (small feeds 5 to 8, medium 10 to 15, large 20 to 30).

Allergy notes

Some of our dishes contain egg (kottu, egg masala, watalappan), dairy (yogurt sambal), fish (maasi sambal is made with dried Maldives fish) and nuts (green pea cashew curry). If anyone has an allergy, tell us when you order and we will tell you what to avoid.

Plan by drive time, not by city

Across the GTA, the most useful question is how long the food will be in the car. We group orders into three bands:

Under 30 minutes

Scarborough, Markham, Pickering, North York, Richmond Hill and Ajax. Almost any dish works, and pickup from 328 Passmore Avenue is a realistic option if someone in the family is driving past.

30 to 45 minutes

Downtown Toronto, Vaughan, Aurora, Whitby, Oshawa and Newmarket. Lean on rice dishes, have chafing dishes ready, and give us a firm serving time so we can work back from it.

45 minutes and more

Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton and Burlington. These work best for larger orders booked early. Choose biryani or ghee rice combos over anything crispy or chopped, and allow for highway traffic.

Pickup or delivery?

Pickup suits families who already have a car going toward the event and someone to load trays. Delivery suits halls and offices where the host is busy. Either way, food leaves our kitchen packed and ready to serve. We do not send servers or run stations, so plan who will lay out the trays. For a deeper comparison see delivery vs pickup.
