How to order

Ordering is simple: tell us your date, headcount and any preferences. Catering is roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount) with a 20-guest minimum, and we deliver across the GTA. Give us as much notice as you can — especially for large events — and we'll confirm your menu and send a quote the same day.

Eid al-Fitr vs Eid al-Adha orders

For Eid al-Fitr, families usually want a full spread for a late lunch after prayer and visiting. For Eid al-Adha, many families have their own qurbani meat, so they order biryani, sides and dessert to go with it. Tell us which Eid, the time and the headcount, and book early: the days around both Eids are our busiest.

Allergy notes

Some of our dishes contain egg (kottu, egg masala, watalappan), dairy (yogurt sambal), fish (maasi sambal is made with dried Maldives fish) and nuts (green pea cashew curry). If anyone has an allergy, tell us when you order and we will tell you what to avoid.

When the moon sighting moves the date

Eid begins with the sighting of the new moon, so the exact day is often not certain until the night before. When you book, tell us the day you expect and the possible alternative, then call or text (647) 449-2924 as soon as your masjid announces. Planning for both days makes the morning far calmer.

Open house through the afternoon

Many Eid gatherings are not a single sitting. Relatives drop in from after the prayer until evening. Instead of putting everything out at once, keep half the trays covered in a warm oven and swap them in as the first ones empty. Biryani and dry dishes like fried chicken hold up best over a long afternoon. Our kitchen is in north Scarborough. Markham is about 15 minutes away, North York about 25, and Mississauga or Brampton 45 to 55.
