Halal Eid Catering in Toronto — Feasts for the Whole Family
Authentic halal Eid catering delivered to Toronto, roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount). Book early.
Hosting Eid in a Toronto condo or apartment
Many Toronto families host Eid in a high-rise: a party room booked for the afternoon, or a living room that has to hold three generations. Catering for a building is a different job from catering for a house. The food is the easy part. The elevator, the loading area and the rules in your building's handbook are where things go wrong.
Questions to ask your building first
- Can the party room be reserved for the whole day, and is there a deposit or a cleaning fee?
- Is there a service elevator, and does it have to be booked in advance on a holiday?
- Where can a delivery vehicle stop for ten minutes without getting a ticket?
- Will the concierge hold a delivery, or must a resident come down to collect it?
- Are open-flame chafing fuels allowed in the party room? Some buildings only permit electric warmers.
Tell us the answers when you book. They shape the delivery window more than anything else.
A small kitchen and big trays
Condo kitchens are not built for catering. Before Eid, clear the counters and one full fridge shelf for leftovers. Our trays come in three sizes: small feeds 5 to 8, medium 10 to 15, large 20 to 30. A large tray takes up a lot of counter, so if your kitchen is tight, mention it and ask how the order will be packed. Tray prices are by quote.
If you are using the party room, bring everything down in one trip before the food arrives: plates, cutlery, napkins, serving spoons, garbage bags, and a roll of foil. Running up and down twenty floors for a ladle is how the biryani ends up sitting out.
Timing around Eid prayer
Eid prayer is in the morning, and most hosts want food ready shortly after the family gets home. Downtown Toronto is about 32 km from our kitchen, usually 35 to 45 minutes via the 401 and the DVP, and Eid morning traffic near large prayer sites can add to that. Set your delivery window to start after you expect to be back, not before. A tray waiting in a lobby while you are still at prayer helps no one.
Closer parts of the city, like North York at about 25 minutes, are easier to time. Further west, Etobicoke takes us about 45 to 50 minutes, so book those early.
After the meal, the trip back upstairs
The party room usually has to be empty and clean by a set time. Plan the end of the day as carefully as the start:
- Have shallow containers and lids ready so leftovers can be split and refrigerated within two hours of serving.
- Check the garbage chute rules. Many buildings do not want greasy foil trays or large bags in the chute, so use the garbage room instead.
- Wipe down warmers and serving spoons before taking them back up, so nothing drips in the elevator.
- Bring a folding cart. Two trips with a cart beat eight trips by hand.
Two Toronto Eid budgets
quotes each event based on menu and headcount with a 20-person minimum. Totals are before tax and delivery.
- Apartment lunch for 40 on Chicken Biryani Combo 2 (quoted for your event): final pricing depends on your menu and headcount. Chicken biryani, deep-fried chicken, green-pea cashew curry, pineapple curry, eggplant moju, acharu, maasi sambol and custard.
- Party room for 80 on the Mutton Biryani Combo (quoted for your event): final pricing depends on your menu and headcount. Mutton biryani with chicken chukka, eggplant moju, maasi sambol, pineapple curry, yogurt sambal, acharu and kithul watalappan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you deliver to a condo party room in downtown Toronto?
Yes, within our delivery range. Tell us your building's delivery rules when you book, and have someone ready at the lobby or loading area to meet the order.
Our building doesn't allow open flames. How do we keep the food warm?
Use electric warmers or a low oven. Food arrives packed and ready to serve, so you only need to hold it hot until people eat.
Do you also deliver Eid catering to North York and Etobicoke?
Yes. North York is about 25 minutes from our kitchen and Etobicoke about 45 to 50 minutes, so book the longer drives earlier.
