For standard office parties (under 50 people), 1–2 weeks notice is usually sufficient. For larger events (50+), 3–4 weeks is recommended.

Who does what on the day

To be clear about how we work: our catering is drop-off or pickup. Food arrives packed and ready to serve, and we do not send staff to set up or serve. Inside Scarborough the drive from Passmore Avenue is usually 10 to 20 minutes, so food lands hot. Plan the rest like this:

One person receives the delivery at reception and knows where the food goes.
Someone sets out plates, cutlery, napkins and serving spoons before the delivery arrives.
Lids stay on until people are actually in the room.
