Corporate Halal Catering in Vaughan — Reliable & Authentic

Halal corporate and office catering delivered to Vaughan, roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount).

When half the team eats at noon and half at three

Vaughan workplaces along Highway 400 and the 407 include a lot of warehouses, distribution centres and plants, and many of them run in shifts. That changes the catering question. You are not feeding one room at one time. You are feeding a crew that clocks in and out in waves, and the people on the second shift should not be left with whatever the first shift did not finish.

Our kitchen is at 328 Passmore Avenue in north Scarborough. Vaughan is about 35 km away, a 35 to 40 minute drive in normal traffic, and longer when the 401 or the 407 is slow. So the plan has to work around both the drive and the shift clock.

Splitting an order across shifts

When you call, tell us the start time of each shift, how many people are on each, and where they eat. We will help you split the order so every shift eats properly. The two common approaches:

  • Two drops. Each shift gets its own delivery, timed to its break. Best when the breaks are far apart.
  • One drop, two halves. One delivery before the first break. The second half goes straight into the fridge unopened and is reheated later. Best when the lunchroom has a fridge and a microwave or oven.

Worked order: 60 staff on two shifts

Say 30 people work days and 30 work evenings. quotes each event based on menu and headcount with a 20-person minimum, and each shift here is 30, so each half can stand on its own.

  • Day shift: Chicken Biryani Combo 2 at quoted for your event. final pricing depends on your menu and headcount. Chicken biryani, deep-fried chicken, pineapple curry, eggplant mojo, acharu, maasi sambal, green-pea cashew curry and custard dessert.
  • Evening shift: Chicken Biryani Combo 1 at quoted for your event. final pricing depends on your menu and headcount. Chicken biryani, eggplant mojo, egg masala and acharu.

is confirmed in your event quote. Put everyone on Combo 2 instead and it comes to final pricing depends on your menu and headcount. Ask us about mixing combos if your split is uneven.

Holding the second half safely

Food that waits for a later shift needs a plan, not a corner of the counter. Keep it sealed, get it into a fridge within two hours of arrival, and reheat it until it is steaming hot all the way through. Biryani reheats best covered, with a splash of water stirred in so the rice does not dry out. Reheat only what that shift will eat, and do not reheat the same portion twice. Label the containers with the shift name, so the night crew knows which share is theirs and the day crew leaves it alone.

Iftar at the workplace

During Ramadan, many Vaughan teams break the fast together at work. Over the next few years Ramadan falls in winter, when sunset in the GTA comes close to the end of the workday. With a 35 to 40 minute drive and evening rush hour on top, plan for the food to land well before sunset, never right at it. Keep the trays closed until the call to prayer, and set out water and dates yourself so people can break the fast the moment it is time. A chafing dish or two keeps the biryani hot while people pray before the meal. Our Ramadan iftar catering guide covers larger iftar gatherings.

Book early for the drive

Because Vaughan is one of our longer runs, give us as much notice as you can, especially for evening drops and for Ramadan dates, when many groups order at once. For a rough sense of totals before you call, see what halal catering costs. Then call or text (647) 449-2924.
