Halal Eid Catering in Vaughan — Feasts for the Whole Family

Authentic halal Eid catering delivered to Vaughan, roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount). Book early.

Start with the number you want to spend

Hosting the extended family in Vaughan often means relatives driving in from Richmond Hill, Newmarket and the rest of York Region, and the guest list grows the closer Eid gets. A good way to stay in control is to fix the food budget first and let it tell you which combo fits. quotes each event based on menu and headcount with a 20-person minimum, so the maths is simple.

What $2,000 buys, before tax and delivery

  • Mutton Biryani Combo at quoted for your event: up to 68 guests ($1,972).
  • Beef Biryani Combo at quoted for your event: up to 74 guests ($1,998).
  • Chicken Biryani Combo 2 at quoted for your event: up to 80 guests ($2,000).
  • Chicken Biryani Combo 1 at quoted for your event: up to 100 guests ($2,000).
  • Vegetable Biryani Combo at quoted for your event: up to 133 guests ($1,995).

Remember that tax and delivery sit on top of these numbers, so leave room for them. If your list lands between two lines, the cheaper combo for everyone usually beats the dearer combo for fewer people, because running out is worse than a simpler menu.

What changes as the price drops

The $29 Mutton Biryani Combo has eight items including chicken chukka, yogurt sambal and kithul watalappan. Chicken Biryani Combo 2 at quoted for your event also has eight, with deep-fried chicken, green-pea cashew curry and custard. Chicken Biryani Combo 1 at quoted for your event is lean: chicken biryani, eggplant moju, egg masala and acharu. That last one contains eggs, and has no dessert, so plan sweets separately if you choose it.

Extras that sit outside the per-person price

Drinks and extra sweets are where Eid budgets quietly grow. From our menu, Mango Lassi is $6 and contains dairy, and Vattalappam is $15 and contains eggs. Decide on these before you settle the headcount, so the extras come out of the same $2,000 rather than on top of it.

Eid in the colder months

Eid moves about eleven days earlier each year on the regular calendar. For the next few years, Eid al-Fitr falls in late winter, so a Vaughan Eid may well mean snow. Vaughan is about 35 km from our kitchen, usually 35 to 40 minutes on the 407 or the 401, and winter roads can stretch that.

  • Clear and salt the driveway and front steps the night before. Trays are carried by hand.
  • Leave the porch light on and the house number visible from the street.
  • Set a table just inside the door so trays can go down right away rather than across a wet floor.
  • Give us a backup phone number in case the first one is busy greeting guests.
  • If a storm is forecast, call us a day ahead to talk about timing.

Booking a Vaughan slot during Eid

Eid is our busiest window, and a Vaughan delivery is a planned slot, not something we can squeeze in at the last minute. Once you know the budget and a rough count, book it. You can adjust numbers closer to the day; it is much harder to find a slot that has already gone. Our page on how far in advance to book catering has general lead times.

Two worked Vaughan examples

  • 40 people on Chicken Biryani Combo 2: final pricing depends on your menu and headcount leaving room under a $1,200 budget for tax and delivery.
  • 80 people on the Mutton Biryani Combo: final pricing depends on your menu and headcount for a family that wants mutton as the centrepiece.

Food arrives packed and ready to serve. There are no servers, so have chafing dishes, fuel and spoons ready, and decide who in the family runs the buffet while you greet guests at the door. For a quote, call or text (647) 449-2924.
