Sri Lankan Noodles in Scarborough
Noodle combos with chilli chicken, tiger shrimp, chicken chukka and more. From $18.
Noodles are a quiet favourite in Sri Lankan homes. They are stir-fried the same way as kottu and fried rice, on a hot wok with vegetables and pepper, then served with curries and sides so they become a full meal instead of a side dish.
What we serve
- Vegetable noodles, $18. Veg noodles with your choice of meat, plus salad and dessert.
- Meat noodles combo, $26. Meat noodles with chicken chukka, dry fish curry, potato devil, pineapple, maasi sambal and dessert.
- Veg noodles combo, $29. Veg noodles with hot chilli chicken, jumbo tiger shrimp, pineapple, eggplant moju, Italian salad and fruit salad.
Which one to pick
If it is your first time, the veg noodles combo is the easiest way to try a lot at once: noodles, chilli chicken and tiger shrimp in one order. The meat noodles combo is more traditional, with dry fish curry and maasi sambal bringing the salty, savoury side of Sri Lankan food. The plain vegetable noodles are the lighter option.
Noodles, fried rice or kottu
All three come off the same wok. Noodles are the lightest, fried rice sits in the middle, and kottu roti is the heaviest. For a table of friends, ordering one of each is a good way to find your favourite.

Allergy notes
Some of our dishes contain egg (kottu, egg masala, watalappan), dairy (yogurt sambal), fish (maasi sambal is made with dried Maldives fish) and nuts (green pea cashew curry). If anyone has an allergy, tell us when you order and we will tell you what to avoid.
The $15 plate, in full
Sri Lankan Noodles ($15) are more than a plate of noodles. They come with kurma gravy, Sri Lankan style fried chicken and a boiled egg, which makes them a complete meal for one. The gravy is the part people forget: pour a little over the noodles as you go so they stay moist.
"Veg" in the name, not on the plate
Two of our noodle dishes say veg but are not vegetarian. The Veg Noodles Combo ($29) comes with hot chilli chicken and jumbo tiger shrimp, and Vegetable Noodles ($18) come with a meat of your choice. The word describes the vegetables in the noodles. For a meat-free order, call or text (647) 449-2924 first and we will tell you what fits.
