Halal Corporate Catering in Mississauga — 2026

Halal Corporate Catering for Mississauga events. Halal Sri Lankan menus, pricing, lead times, and delivery from our Scarborough kitchen.

Starting from a number: what a set budget buys

Corporate orders in Mississauga often begin with a figure from finance rather than a menu. Someone is told there is $3,000 for the town hall lunch, and the real question becomes how many people that feeds and how generously. Below are three ways to spend that same amount on our combos, followed by the logistics of moving food across the city from north Scarborough.

Option A: stretch it across the most people

Chicken Biryani Combo 1 is roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount) and includes chicken biryani, eggplant mojo, egg masala and acharu. Divide $3,000 by $20 and it covers 150 people before tax and delivery. This suits a large staff event where the goal is a solid hot meal for everyone.

Option B: the middle ground

Chicken Biryani Combo 2 is quoted for your event and adds deep-fried chicken, pineapple curry, maasi sambal, green-pea cashew curry and a custard dessert. The same your menu and headcount determine the event quote.

Option C: a client-facing spread

For a partner meeting or client day, the Seeraga Samba Ghee Rice Combo at quoted for your event brings seeraga samba ghee rice, hot beef bisteak, beef sambal, pineapple curry, capsicum hot curry, eggplant plantain milk curry, potato devil, green-pea cashew curry and ktull wattalapam. your menu and headcount determine the event quote.

In every case, hold back part of the budget for tax and delivery, which we quote with the order. quotes each event based on menu and headcount with a 20-person minimum.

The distance, stated plainly

Mississauga is one of our longest regular runs: about 50 km from Passmore Avenue, usually 45 to 55 minutes along the 401, and longer when cross-city traffic is heavy. Two things follow from that. Book further ahead than a nearby office would. And treat the arrival time as a window rather than a minute, with slack built into your own schedule.

A day-of timeline, worked backwards from 12:30

Suppose lunch is served at 12:30 in a Peel Region office park.

  • 12:30: guests line up.
  • 12:15: lids off, serving spoons in place, labels out.
  • 12:00: chafing dishes lit, if you are using them, and food transferred.
  • 11:45: target arrival for our delivery, leaving a buffer for the highway.
  • The day before: confirm the final count, the receiving contact and the entrance.
  • A week or more out: choose the combo and confirm the booking.

The 45-minute gap is not there for the food's sake. It exists because a cross-city drive can be held up, and you would rather have lunch waiting for the meeting than a meeting waiting for lunch.

Five questions to put to any caterer first

  1. Is all the meat halal, and who certifies it? Ours is HMA-certified, with documentation on request.
  2. Do you deliver this far, and how is delivery quoted?
  3. Is setup or serving included? With us it isn't: food arrives packed and ready to serve, and your team lays it out.
  4. What goes into each dish, so we can flag allergens? For example, our green-pea cashew curry has cashews and egg masala has eggs.
  5. Who do we call on the day if plans change?

A caterer who answers all five clearly will be easier to work with than one with a lower headline price and vague answers.

Receiving food at a large building

Plenty of Mississauga workplaces are towers or business parks with security desks and loading docks. Send us the exact door, whether the driver should use visitor parking or the dock, and whether security needs a name in advance. If the trays need a freight elevator, warn building management. A cart and a second pair of hands at the door make the handover quick.

A smaller variant: the 20-seat client meeting

Not every Mississauga order is a town hall. For a board or client meeting of exactly 20, the per-person minimum is met and you can go for a fuller plate. Ghee Rice Combo 2 at roughly $20 to $30 per person (quoted on menu and headcount) brings ghee rice, boneless beef bisteak, fried whole chicken, kaliya curry, maasi sambal, acharu and ktull wattalapam: final pricing depends on your menu and headcount before tax and delivery. Present it in proper serving bowls rather than foil trays if the room calls for it, put out real cutlery and cloth napkins, and place a printed card naming each dish. Visitors who have never had Sri Lankan food will ask what kaliya and acharu are, and a one-line description on the card answers before they need to.

Mississauga ordering questions

Can we collect the order ourselves?

Pickup from our Scarborough kitchen runs on Saturday and Sunday. For a weekday office lunch across the city, delivery is the practical choice.

What about individual meals for a board meeting?

Individual boxed lunches are available. They have no published price, so ask for a quote with the number of boxes.
